Join us at our 2nd annual Sweets and Scares: A Fiercely Frightful All-Ages Drag Show
You’ll have a blast watching a phenomenal show AND supporting queer youth!
This is our second annual Sweets and Scares: A Fiercely Frightful All-Ages Drag Show and the second time the marvelous Olympia Family Theater will host one of our drag shows.
Our all-ages family friendly drag shows showcase a dazzling array of drag performers with a majority of youth performers ages 12-25, as well as several fabulous non-youth performers. Youth take center stage, earn funds while participating in a supportive event, and gain confidence and experience.
We’re so proud of these fun community-building events! It’s delightful to have entire extended families attend these celebratory events together, and sometimes even perform together.
This year at Sweets and Scares, youth are also taking the stage for spoken word or music performances. And, there’s more! Pose for pix at our photo booth, nosh on snacks, and stock up on stickers and handmade lino print merch (they make great gifts!).
Celebrate community and support LGBTQ2S+ youth job opportunities, support groups, art programs, and our other programs.
Join us on Saturday, October 18th from 7-9 pm at the Olympia Family Theater. $20+ suggested entry donation each night, and as always, FREE FOR YOUTH! No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Eerily Early Extravaganza!: The first 25 people who buy tickets will receive an exclusive goodie bag filled with care by our staff!
If you’re able, we wholeheartedly appreciate folks paying above the ticket cost so we can continue to afford to offer discounted and free tickets to youth and low-income people.

Stonewall Youth has a long history of supporting drag in our community and staging large drag events, including full-length theater pieces. After a brief interlude, we’re again presenting family-friendly events that showcase a fabulous array of drag performers. Non-youth are welcome to perform but priority is given to youth performers ages 12-25. No prior experience is necessary.
We provide a $50 stipend to each performer and make it easy and safe for them to get tips from the audience. Youth take center stage, earn funds, and gain confidence and experience. Staff and trusted volunteers create a supportive and safe environment for all performers.
