Our 4th Annual Auction
 Gay Hollywood Red Carpet Soiree – In Review!

The Stonewall Youth 4th annual auction took place at the beautiful Eagle’s ballroom on December 1st 2007 and was a huge success.  We had a higher attendance than ever before and we raised (after expenses) over $10,000 to fund our annual winter retreat.  With the outstanding support from all the businesses and individuals who donated and attended, we will be able to make camp free for all youth.  We will also be able to pay Speakers Bureau participants and other youth organizations to do workshops at our retreat.  Some of the workshops that will be included are about gender, transphobia, racism, body image and other issues that affect GLBTQ young people.   The retreat is not only an amazing opportunity for youth to network with other young people from surrounding areas but also to gain ideas from peers about how to be revolutionary organizers and leaders and to strengthen our communities.  We greatly appreciate all who supported this event and who helped make it possible.

Over the years Stonewall Youth has supported thousands of youth in Thurston County. We believe all youth, especially those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, queer and questioning, should feel valued by their community and have opportunities to thrive.

We are proud of our dedicated volunteers and enthusiastic staff. Over 90% of our annual budget goes directly to programs and services for youth, including peer support groups, alcohol-free and drug-free social activities, skill-building, and HIV prevention and education.
